Review and approve your posts.

One person asks, one decides, and nothing gets lost: the Desk shows what is waiting, and an approved post is ready for its date.

Review and approve your posts in Draft

Step by step

  1. Ask a teammate to review.

In Drafts, open Review on your post, choose a reviewer and select Request review.

  2. Waiting for you, on your Desk.

The reviewer sees To review in Callouts on their Desk. One tap opens Drafts with just the posts waiting for them.

  3. Not quite? Request changes.

Open Review, write a note and select Request Changes. The post keeps a yellow Changes tag with your note under it.

  4. Fix it, then ask again.

The author finds Changes requested on their Desk, opens the post in the Editor, adjusts it with Crop & Adjust, saves and selects Request review again.

  5. Looks right? Approve it.

The reviewer opens the post again, looks through the carousel and selects Approve. The post gets a green Approved tag.

  6. Approved. Now it has a date.

The author sees Schedule approved drafts on their Desk, picks a day and time in Quick edit and selects Schedule. The post appears in the calendar.

Who can do what.

Owners and admins can ask anyone in the workspace for a review; editors can ask for a review of posts they wrote. Any member can approve or request changes. Asking again after changes starts a new round, and the last note stays visible.

Approve media before there is a post.

To decide on images and videos before you build a post, rate them Approved, Maybe or Declined in the Hub. See the guide Collect and approve your media.

Questions

Does Approve publish the post?
No. An approved post stays a draft until you schedule it or turn on Autopost. Approval only records the decision.
How does the reviewer know a post is waiting?
Their Desk shows To review in Callouts, and Drafts can show just the posts assigned to them. There is no email.
Can I review my own post?
Yes. You can choose yourself as the reviewer, for example as a reminder to check a post later.
