Plan your first post.

From title to time slot in one pass. Then see it on your calendar, exactly as it will look.

Plan your first post in Draft

Step by step

  1. Start with a title.

Open the editor and give the post a working title, so you find it again in the calendar and in drafts.

  2. Choose where it goes.

Pick Instagram or TikTok, then the format: image, video or carousel.

  3. Add your media.

Drop a file into the media field, or add images and videos from your Hub. A carousel gets one slide per file.

  4. See it in place.

Turn on the platform preview to see your post with the platform around it before it goes anywhere.

  5. Write a caption. Tap a tag.

Draft suggests hashtags from your caption and from what you have posted before. One tap adds a tag.

  6. Pick a day and time.

Set the date and the time the post should go out.

  7. Add it to a campaign.

Optional: file the post under a campaign, so it shows up with the rest of that campaign.

  8. Save draft, schedule or autopost.

Save draft keeps it open. Schedule sets it in your plan. Autopost also publishes it on time through a connected account.

  9. Check it on your calendar.

The post sits on its day. Hold its icon to open the preview. If it is your next scheduled post, it shows under Next at the top.

Draft, scheduled or autopost.

A draft is on your calendar in grey and does not count as next. A scheduled post is set in your plan and can appear under Next. Autopost works like schedule, and Draft publishes the post for you when it is due.

Where you can publish.

Plan and publish for Instagram and TikTok. Autopost publishes supported formats through a connected account.

After it goes out.

Published posts stay on your calendar. If a publish fails, the post is marked as failed, so you see it right away and can fix it.

Questions

What is the difference between schedule and autopost?
Both put the post into your plan and under Next. Only autopost publishes it on its own at the set time, through a connected account.
Can I still change a planned post?
Yes. Open it from the calendar, change media, caption or time, or move it to another day.
Do I need a connected account?
Only for autopost. Drafts and scheduled posts work without one. Connect Instagram or TikTok when you want Draft to publish for you.
