Work with your calendar.
See the whole plan at once, check what goes out next, and change it with one move.
Step by step
Month, week or day.
Switch the view at the top right. The same posts, at the scale you need.
Every status has its colour.
Open the legend at the bottom: draft, scheduled, autopost, published and placeholder each have a colour, and every format its own icon.
Next shows what goes out first.
At the top, Next shows the date and time of your next scheduled post.
Hold to preview.
Hold a post’s icon to open the 3D preview. At the bottom it shows the next post; tap its thumbnail to see that one.
Drag to reschedule.
Plans changed? Drag a post to another day. Its media and caption stay with it.
Running it again? Duplicate it.
Right-click a post, choose Duplicate and pick the day. The copy keeps the time and starts as a draft, ready for a recurring format or a rerun.
Mark the dates that matter.
Create an event for launches, shoots or open days, with a date, details and tags, so it sits next to your posts.
Hold a slot. Fill it later.
No media yet? Create a placeholder for a day, Instagram or TikTok, and a format: image, video or carousel. Fill it when the content is ready.
More ways to plan in the calendar.
Drop images or videos straight onto a day to start posts for it. Use Reschedule on a post to pick a new date and time without dragging. Press ⌘J (Ctrl+J on Windows) on a post to duplicate it.
Questions
- Do drafts count as Next?
- No. Next shows your next scheduled post, including autopost. Drafts stay on the calendar in grey until you schedule them.
- What is a placeholder?
- A reserved slot on a day, with platform and format, before the media exists. It shows on the calendar so the plan is complete.
- Can I repeat a post every week?
- Duplicate it and pick the next date. Each copy starts as a draft, so you can adjust it before you schedule it.
